Not sure if berk has any plans for creating a dual exhaust out of the muffler delete.
From what I have heard there MAY be a piece that will allow the muffler delete to convert into a full catback!

To be honest, the muffler may act as a slight "aero" component, but it doesnt cover ALL the space in the area, so it isnt really a "diffuser" as people are confusing. On top of that, you dont get full benefits of a diffuser if you dont have a full flat underbody that directs most of the underbody air to the diffuser. So to answer your question, I don't think it matters that much, because it doesn't fully cover the rear end.
