the TRD intake (which IMO really isn't anymore of a cold air intake than the stock intake) gets its air supply from the same location (snorkel inside the front bumper) as the stock intake.
therefore, no you will not increase your chances of hydrolocking the car with the TRD intake installed. Some of the other aftermarket intakes maybe another story.
