then other members wouldn't know about issues with vendors, plus it's easier to keep track of who said what when it's spelled out in posts, out in the open. just MHO, but as long as things are kept civil and professional, i find feedback threads such as this one very useful in choosing who to buy from.
some vendors are bad at answering numerous emails and PMs, so sometimes the last resort is to post something here.
