Spot on! On higher boost e85 doesn't last me long and sometimes get caught out and have to top up with pump when I go for a drive the hills or when I'm on the way back from the track.
I change back to pump if I road trip out of town or state as well as every few tanks of e85 to flush the fuel system etc.
Having the sensor based tune and the freedom to run whatever fuel mix is awesome. On a switchable map you really have to run your tank down until the car is about to stall to avoid an e20 or something blend on a pump tune!
The downside is the amount of tuning and validation needed at different blends to ensure the tune is happy. I recommend finding as local a tuner as possible with a good history & reputation and take your car there loaded up with jerry cans of the local pump and e85 you will be running.
