For those of that are curious about the TRD intake and exhaust and wonder if they add any performance to your vehicle here is a motor trend article I just stumbled upon.

Apparently (despite the naysayers/haters on this board) these parts do add performance to your FR-S even without a tune.
According to the article they took their FR-S out after letting the new parts settle in for two weeks.
The only upgrades were a TRD Intake and Exhaust.
The gains they noticed were not earth shattering but were noticeable especially as the vehicle gained speed.
0 - 60 mph improved from 6.2 to 6.1 sec.
0 - 100 mph improved from 16.3 to 16.0 sec.
1/4 mile improved from 14.8 to 14.6 sec.
So that leaves me wondering how much more could you get out of these two mods if you had them tuned?
