The STi moved from the 04 STi 5x100 hubs to the 05+ 5x114 due to pad knockback. I sold my 04 STi because the pad knockback was real annoying and I lost confidence with the brakes. One good thing about pad knockback is that it forced me to learn left foot braking.

I really hope the FT-S/BRZ doesn't suffer from pad knockback!!!

I want to get 17x8 or 8.5 Volk TEs for this car. Any wheels over 15lbs will be too heavy for a low hp/tq car, so Rotas are out of the question. The standard 17" rear Volk TE for the Elise will do just fine!
