At 80 you'd need about 30 horsepower, this car could do 80 at 2000rpm and it would do it at maximum efficiency. It's just that if a headwind blows strong, or if you have to climb a steep grade, you need to floor it, or shift.
If a G35 did 3200rpm at 80, that's way too many rpms. A Honda 3.5L with 5 speed auto on the Pilot or Accord does 2600-2700 at 80.
This car is going to do about 3100 at 80 with the 3.727 f/d.
