GT86 Mount, Nexus 7 (2013), and Torque App...

I was looking for a solution for my compulsive need to know everything about my car in realtime. I have been spoiled by the Gran Tourismo inspired display in my GT-R. I felt like there had to be an option for the BRZ and thus I started searching the internet for anything that would fit the bill. Finally I found the TORQUE App and read great reviews from thousands of happy TORQUE users. Unfortunately for me this App is only for android devices of which I had none. After not being able to find anything I finally gave in and bought a Nexus 7 32GB (2013) model from amazon. After receiving my Nexus 7 and an ELM 327 BT OBDII reader and getting it set up; I was pleased with the outcome - less the oh shit moment of... how do I mount this thing. After research I found that some people replaced their OEM head units with the Nexus 7 but unlike many BRZ owners I happen to like the OEM NAV unit. So for me that wasn't an option. After several hours of searching google I found GT86mounts http://www.gt86mounts.com/product.wm...-SHIPPING-.htm. I have installed my Nexus 7 with this mounting system with awesome results. I use my Nexus 7 for everything including YouTube, DISH Network Slingbox, Internet access, Torque App, and much more. I am very happy with this setup!

Thank you to Kyle who made these awesome mounts...

Cheers,

-Nate
