Difference between Borla and Agency Power is that Borla actually stands behind its products. They have replaced headers that were faulty as they have a great warranty. Good luck getting shit from Agency Power. Theyll just tell you to fuck off or ignore you.

I remember there was a site dedicated to bad reviews of Agency Power & @vividracing and the owner of Vivid/AP tried to sue the owner of the site. The site was full of bad reviews taken from multiple message boards and testimonies of horrible service by them. The owner of AP/Vivid I believe sued him to take the site down for copyright or some crap regarding using there name in the domain or site.

There have been tons of unhappy customers on tons of forums where they were vendors at give them horrible reviews. It was proven that they would make there parts in Taiwan as an ex employee had pictures of there shipping/receiving logs/receipts. They made there parts for dirt cheap and make a huge profit on them.

I remember reading on NASIOC one time that they sold a Greddy product at one time. Then they ended up making a complete knock off of it and they removed the part and put there own up. One common thing is when you order from VividRacing is if you order anything from them that isnt Agency Power they wont get it to you for a LONG time. There have been tons of upset customers who have waited months to receive there parts and would need to do charge backs. This may not happen anymore but it happened a lot back then and wouldnt be surprised if they still do that now. I have no problem with companies who sell a product and order it for you from that company directly as thats what they do but they arent honest when it comes to a shipping date. They will charge you then send it out 2-3 months later AFTER you hound them about it, whereas other companies will tell you a time and send it by then. They carry plenty of Agency Power crap parts but only uninformed individuals buy there parts. Just google Agency Power vivid racing sucks and you will get plenty of google results of unhappy customers new and old.

Here are a couple of quotes taken from another board with a quick google search. Dont buy their crap of changing ownership. Because you still see horrible reviews from message board posts that were posted in the last 2-3 years. IMO they should of been banned after they made 3 HUGE threads of dyno's for there bolt ons and lying to the whole community to make some quick cash. A lot of people wasted there money because they didnt get banned for doing the same crap they did on other forums.

You can search them on here and also Nasioc as well as any other large Subaru board.

They have scammed many owners in the past. They have been banned from Nasioc as a vendor due to their practices.

I'm assuming they havent changed ownership or the new owner would almost have to create a new name for business sake.

They do knock off products from other companies. One that comes to mind is Kartboy's pitch stop mount which Big Al (another joke in the community) made famous with his "over priced kartboy" comment.

As 302 said, they ripoff companies who actually do R&D on products. They ripped off KB for their SS kit, and ripped off APS on their turbo inlet.

Don't buy any Agency Power product. They've been banned as vendors on every major Subaru site due to poor business practices.

As said, Vivid Racing (who own Nyx Racing and Agency Power) are con artists. They not only screw over other vendors, but they have gone out of their way to **** over many many customers. There is a 60 page thread on NASIOC by people who have been scammed by them. Parts stolen from cars at their shop. Entire cars "stolen" from their shop. Sending customers empty boxes instead of what they ordered. Refusing to refund bad labor and items that people order but they never send.

Avoid these a$$holes at all cost.
