I was going to run an STi OEM oil cooler before trying anything else as oil pressure is of paramount importance on a boosted FA20.
I have a very serious radiator on our STi race car and an 8 quart dry sump setuo but I rely only on the oem oil cooler FWIW.

Ya, these have been on EJ motors for what, 20 years now?
I ran one on my N/A impreza for like 6 years. Its certainly not going to hurt anything. Especially if coolant tempts are around 190 and people really are hitting 270 for oil temps!!! That 80 degree difference certainly means this kind of air/water-cooled oil cooler will have an effect in extreme situations.
The ECU doesn't read oil temps right?
