Originally test drove an automatic FR-S and felt kind of bored with it. Went with a manual and no regrets. In fact, I took a road trip about a month ago and got 34.5 MPG on a 365 mile round trip, so I am happy with my decision.
Then again, I might be slightly bias towards a manual seeing as every daily driven vehicle, since I got my driver's license, has been a manual (12 years).
