We gapped our plugs tighter at the track and you just need a lot of short "wobble" extensions. It was a royal pain and tons of patience. I now have an open end ratchet that fits onto the extension and this gives ample clearance now.
Let's put it this way I would have easily paid someone to do it. LOL!
