Haha yeah I heard about your speed limits over there, kinda annoying to go on really long road trips with that speed.

About the rpm, ya it stays revving, but that's when the A/C actually works.

Yeah I do that all the time, before the FRS I had a 6" lifted FJ Cruiser, so yeah haha.
What do you mean when the AC actually works?

We have speed cameras that are set to around 89 miles, if you see a flash then you're fined for around $250, guess it defeats the purpose of just going over the normal speed a bit, why not just a mile/kilo before the limit?

I don't see why people stress about constant high way driving/high mileage. It's not like your car is going to fall apart. Just keep up the maintenance and it'll be fine for years down the road.

Haha well that taught you a lesson I guess.
Not panic-ing about high mileage or high way driving, see in my Rangie and porsche cayenne, I get RPMs of 2-2.7k at around 87 miles, then I saw the FRS at 3.5k and I had the curiosity to ask whether it is fine to stay on a constant high RPM like that.

Thank you.

I'm surprised you say other cars are only turning 2500 at that speed though - you must be used to fairly powerful sedans or something similar. Most cheaper/smaller cars will be at 3k+ at 80-85mph.

Yeah I noticed that. I've mentioned this before to another guy, my Range and Cayenne seem to be constant at 2-2.7k at 88 miles, was just curious to see 3.5k RPM at 88 miles on the FRS.

I'll give that a try haha!
