That's nothing to worry about at all. When I had my S2000 cruising at highway speeds the engine would be doing 4500 rpm + (if going over 80 mph). If you ever want to know how short the gear ratios are in an S2000 cruise on the highway in your FRS in 5th gear instead of 6th. It's exactly like that.
