There aren't too many interesting roads around Dublin if it's the area I think you're talking about. Collier Canyon and Highland Rd are OK but very bumpy/poor road condition. Morgan Territory we did a while back and is too narrow/nerve-wracking for a group. Some of the roads near Altamont and Patterson Pass might be worth checking out.

it's a good idea, but for same reasons I wouldn't want to go on Fri or Sat... I hate crowds so I avoid going to see movies on opening weekend.
