Draco-REX, I kind of meant about just removing the OEM air feed. I've tested on the car N/A that I wouldn't want to do it, but if I'm running an intercooler will it matter as it will cool the air and could flow better if the airbox is just open. I was wondering if anyone had thought about it or done it? I'll be running the airbox with a K&N as it is now. I guess it depends on whether the intercooler just cools by X degrees or is able to keep IATs fairly constant. Most heatsoak of an open OEM airbox occurs at idle, where I'd hope the cooler is fairly efficient.
