Yeah I've seen it but they wired in a GM ECU so they lost power steering, throttle, and a ton of other stuff. There are actually quite a few drift setups with a V8 swap but they are full race cars that have been stripped of anything OEM, a shell with a V8 in it, Ford quick change rear end, custom steering racks, pedal boxes, etc.
The factory motor is actually really good with a turbo kit and I'm sure once we build our engine up with our "Pro Comp" treatment we will have no problem pushing 600+ whp reliably. Hooking that up and having the rest of the driveline handle that is a whole other story
