Its a stupid feature for a car that is used in winter. Would not be as stupid if it defaulted to up rather than down position.

So you have been able to do this? Is there a link to the DIY or just a general step by step if it was easy? Or did the dealer do it for you? When the function was turned off did it default to the fully up position or the partially down position it goes to when the door opens?
