Exactly Right. 100% Agree. All cars under $30k now-a-days use the same plastic parts. Heck, even $100k+ cars can look cheap. Anybody knocking on the GC's interior is just silly. It looks pretty nice compared to a lot of cars out there. And for the PRICE... it's just awesome. It's just the same people who don't like the exterior. They're trying to come up with reasons to make the FR-S sound like the better choice.
Remember, the rule of thumb is:
Cheap is okay, as long as it's $Cheap.
The FR-S interior in no way looks any better than the GC coupe at all.
I've been a Toyota fan for years. Owned Celicas, MR2s, Supras for quite a while. Now that Toyota/Scion is coming out with the FR-S, you would think a guy like me would go for it. And I might, but man... the new GC rocks.
