Don't know about the comp seats - there are a few warnings from Chevy engineers that they are pretty hard over on corvetteforum. I would get the faux-suede seat inserts though - better grip and don't get as hot.
January might bring the new Z07 but it is going to be $90k plus and for me it's complete overkill--the base Vette with the Z51 will be more than enough to keep me entertained.
