I love the 86 interior, its simple, sporty and suites the car. The interior of the GC looks like any other modern family sedan. Bonus: 90s cars are my favourite.

Compact size? The genesis is noticeably larger and ~600lbs heavier. More nimble, more responsive, more fun. I wish as many do that the 86 was even lighter, but it is still the lightest new affordable FR coupe. (I think? Feel free to prove me wrong)

I'm not expecting the superior handling to get me around the track faster, I could care less. I'm expecting the superior handling and balance to bring a bigger smile to my face while pushing the car to the limit.

If I had the money I would probably buy a Lotus.
