Well i've made up my mind, i'm going to sell my ca-fi knock off and join the N7 crowd. I've held back until now because there doesn't appear to be an easy solution to making a backup camera work(its already installed, why not keep it). Yesterday, however, i stumbled onto
THIS. Basically its a single din receiver with a small 3 inch screen that accepts a camera

I'll use that head unit for the radio/camera/ipod/flash drive type of stuff and leave the N7 hooked into its aux in and use it(N7) as my torque/nav/movies(only while parked

) display.
So just a few things are on my mind at the moment. Is trimming the metal supports absolutely necessary? I'm not totally against it, but i'd rather not if i don't have to and since the HU doesn't have a cd drive it should be shallower....right?
Secondly, what is the best way you guys have found to fill the gaps? both on the N7 and the lower HU? It seems like everyone has done there own thing, but does anybody have any tips?
I should be ordering the N7 and the HU in a couple of weeks, i'll keep you posted.
Thanks guys.
