Nice job on the fix!
I have one too, I have a feeling the majority of the owners will have front lip scraped/chipped. I mis-judged going down a parking dip at my workplace, went a bit too fast (5-8km/hr), should have installed a front lip when I bought the car, will probably still get one in the future.
