Pretty big difference - there's some vids on the of an 86 before ESC vs S2000, and that same 86 with ESC vs the same S2000 (S2000 I think just had an exhaust). The S2000 split the difference in acceleration between the non ESC 86 and the ESC equipped 86... so I'd expect an ESC'ed 86 to move away from a stock 86 as a pretty noticable pace. Check t out:
