Yeah, the money isn't much of an issue. Based on the little bit I know right now, here are my thoughts and concerns:
Will it be too technical for me to be effective at it initially?
Will it be too technical for me to be effective at it ever?
Since it's so new, how reliable will it be in terms of firmware, hardware, and the tunes themselves?
Having this much power in my hands leaves a lot of room for error. What if I was tinkering with the rev limiter and either accidentally turned it off, or the device glitched and set the limiter outrageously high? If I have pulleys, a flywheel, and a carbon fiber driveshaft (which I plan on) the throttle might be sensitive enough to over-rev.
Ok, so I guess that's not many questions, but I'm sure the more I learn the more questions I'll come up with. Those are all really basic and probably answered in the big ass thread, which I need to sit down and read tomorrow.
Another thing I like about it is that I'll have a handy little real time monitor. I'm guessing ECUTEK will allow you to see real time numbers on a laptop while driving down the road, which is cool and all, but this is a lot smaller and more manageable.
