I'm thinking it'll be an awesome auto-x car, which is the only kind of racing I do anymore.

Sucks CRSX is dead now. I was the same way - go to the Auto Talk section and hang there all day long. And The Lounge. But after Loza and the rest started really heavily moderating it, things got kind of lame and a bunch of guys left. Autotalkcrew.com formed essentially because we were sick of the moderators there hassling people for no good reason. Oh well, the glory days are over but it was fun while it lasted. Hell of an information database for the RSX though.

I'm really hoping ft86club turns out to be like that for this new car. We'll see where it goes.
CRSX is still a wealth of knowledge, especially the DIY and Problems section, but I definitely hear you. I installed my header, motor mount inserts, and suspension based on the DIYs on the site without any problems, and they've helped me with other bits of maintenance.

It always happens though. I used to have a B5 A4, and the Audiworld B5 forum was awesome while the average value of the car was $10-15k. Once they started to get old enough that people were getting them for under $10k in high numbers, you start to get too many trashy people and punk kids in the forums. Now the only biggest conversations on CRSX are like the hellaflush ones, and that's stupid. On AW it was when everyone wanted to throw 20"s on their A4s that I knew it had gone downhill.

I think they need a central place for the chassis since they'll be so similar rather than breaking them apart into the Suby and Scion forums separately. This place seems good so far.

*Edit* 1 more thing. I'll prbably auto-X the car for a season intially to get a feel for the limits, but HPDEs are my new drug now. I quit autocross last year and only do those now, and it's so much better. If you have the ability to get to one and afford them, I highly reccommend it.
