I found this install guide for the exhaust:

Doesn't say anything about tabs that I can see. But surely a hole going straight through the pipe right before the tips is not good, right? Trying to figure out if I should leave it as-is, or take it back to the dealer and see what they say

I would think it would effect sound somehow too, but want some more input before I get the dealer involved.
