They are putting a completely new manual transmission in the car. They have learned from their mistakes. The ecu tuning isn't quite there yet as you said, but it's coming. It's a heavy car, but I'm half way expecting the new 2013 to be much more car than the FR-S/BRZ. However, they are very different. But I have a feeling the two will be priced very close together and the GC will still make better numbers and will be making faster laps. Connected to a longer warranty than Toyota/Scion/Subaru - I might just go with the GC.
