That is how Lexus keys work. The other manufacturers that force you to press the button for entry are doing it wrong.
Right! With my keyless go system it's all one smooth motion. Nothing gets interupted by looking for a key, turning a key or any other motion other than opening the door and pressing the start button. This goes for dismounting the vehicle too. I just press the engine stop button and walk away from the car. Everything is done for me. Why wouldn't anyone want that kind of convenience? But, everyone has a right to their own preference.
