If the RX-8 didn't get horrible fuel economy, burn oil like an Iraqi well, and break down at the bark of a seal, I'd be driving one today. Hell of a car. I'd certainly not be driving one of the modified versions, though. The stock setup is sublime.

I thought their review was OK. The thing I thought funny about it, is their name is "Everyday Driver", yet they seemed to place more emphasis on power than anything else in that video...
I think the 2 more seats, coupe style, and more room in the FRS would set it above the s2k in that regard at least (
every day driving). That's why I honestly got one over an s2k. That and you can't find an s2k that hasn't been molested or decent mileage.
And compared to the rx8, your points are spot on as well. I think they sort of missed the point of the frs vs. the others in that video. You can always give a car more power.
