I'm looking to buy the 2014 BRZ in April/May. I prefer small coupes but I do live in New England and I would prefer not to drive it in the winter....So i would be storing it and driving my Celica during the winter.

My Celica feels like it is losing its life and I don't want to invest heavy money into it.

A next-Gen WRX in auto would be a possible choice for me even though I'm dying for the BRZ....again, mostly because I prefer small coupes.

The power difference doesn't bother me too much.
If you are referring to its small space in the BRZ, the trunk is a good size and i can fit two full shopping carts full of food in the car, also with a passenger. Also back seat room isn't to bad, if you want fit two people in the back, you can.

For the winter, a good set of snow tires might calm your fear of driving it in the winter (Though i'd argue all cars even 4WD need winter tires...), unless your worried about rust from salt and etc.
