I wouldn't worry about the silicone, mine is still "high" according to blackstone and I'm at 40k miles without issue. Either that or my engine is about to blow :P
How's your air filter look? I tapped mine out after 30k miles and it looked clean! still replaced it but I'm sure it can go farther. It's a real nice media compared to the old paper crap you usually get.
