You phone is always more up to date too.

Not everyone is as good with holding a phone as you are, plus phones are always going to be of a smaller screen size.
Plus, for some people that live/drive in areas of poor reception, navigation is often better.
And in the end, it's always safer than using a phone.
But to each their own.
