I didn't watch the video yet (and maybe it will change my perspective), but here are my answers to those questions.
- I wouldn't drive a Prius as a daily driver. Not because it's too slow or dorky (I don't really care), but because I want a car that gets me excited to drive. Having a fun car as a daily driver helps immensely when you have to find motivation to drive to work in the morning or after you've just finished a long day of work. I can't see a Prius ever getting me excited to drive.
- My current DD/practical car is a MK6 GTI hatch. Seats 4-5 easily, has a lot of cargo space for its size, and is a DSG which helps with bad traffic. The irony is my FR-S has essentially replaced it as my daily driver because it's just practical enough to be driven daily and is more fun to drive.
