I don't believe that part that the adjuster said it was an oem part. That's not something an adjuster would say. Also, in this case it can't really be proven by an insurance company. Not with that much fire damage. Finding the start of the fire is impossible.
With that being said, they probably will or already have paid out because they also wouldn't be able to prove an aftermarket part caused the incident.
In insurance we have a saying, if it's gray we pay.
