Normally I can't tell when the compressor turns off other than feeling the cool air turning to warm air, but that that is a delayed test.
I am sure that it turns off after 4-5k RPMs or so, but not for sure. At least not without looking at the ECU's code.

I'm still about 200 miles away from break in period so I won't be going over 4k for at least another month or two.
