What they are concerned with is that someone is making knockoffs and passing them off as Rotas, and that people could be buying wheels they think are Rotas that really aren't. That's a very far cry from someone purposefully seeking out copycat Rotas because they don't want a $4,000 set of Rays.
Copy, replica, style, whatever companies want to call it to make themselves feel better on not having any original ideas of their own it's all the same. In my eyes just because they didn't put the brand they blatantly stole the wheel design from doesn't make it any less fake and deceiving. Again, Rota got what they deserved.

I understand some people can't fathom paying full price for the original stuff but companies like Rota claiming their stuff is their own original design or have put R&D into developing it is crap. If they want to copy them or use the design they should pay royalties to the original company just like how musicians pay other musicians to use their songs.
