I agree...so they got 3400 people to sign up....and they are going to probably make at best 7000 cars a year for all 3 models (BRZ/FR-S/86) world wide...could be more...up to 10,000 but that number is pushing it.
These cars won't be sitting on the lot, at least in the first model year.
And the resale value is going to be good on them. Have y'all checked Scions and Subaru's lately for resale value? It's pretty good.

A 2011 Scion tC with 6 speed manual and 15k miles...trade in value is $16,819
The FR-S should have trade in values as good or better than the tC.
Subaru
A 2011 Subaru WRX with 15K miles...trade in value is $24,241
