Now I understand why we wouldn't want a 19" rim for anything other than show.

But why are some people saying they'd go with a 17" rim over an 18"? Or a 16" over a 17". Btw I'm talking about for track driving.

With the 19" that width and grip would likely take some of the load off the inside tire and hurt your skid a bit, but it seems to me like 18" on 225's would be the ideal size... not much sidewall to flex, the inner tire wouldn't be unloading during hard cornering, there's enough width for superb grip (maybe 235 would be better with those gigantic 6 pot brakes?).

If someone that's got more wheel/tire experience could explain it to me I'd appreciate it.

P.S. the TRD kit pretty much sealed the deal for me. I want this car, period .
