I talked to @86_ZN6 at 86fest. Ironically, his booth was directly a across from depo where the authentic lights were being displayed. I was told that he was going to cancel his order with Helix and refund the pre order participants within the next week and a half.

I expect to have my money back a week from Wednesday at the latest per that conversation.
