I have a few questions about tires that are good for track days.

First, I know that there is no "best tire" because every driver has his or her preference when it comes to pretty much everything on their cars.

my first question is why does it seem that very few people have toyo tires? as far as i know they make good tires just like falken, pirelli, and dunlop do. I know that most people will probably stick to a tire (pun intended) that they have tried and thought was really good but there has to be some people out there who either like or are giving toyo's a try.

my next question is about whether or not the following companies make good tires for drifting, auto cross, road racing, etc (ultra high performance. no dedicated track tires such as slicks): cooper tires, firestone, bfgoodridge, fuzion, general tire, and does hoosier make good tires for road racing (i know that they make drag tires).

my next question is what companies make good dedicated track tires?

next, i see michelin pilot super sports on cars with a lot of power like supras with over 700hp and zr1's and gtr's but can they be used for something like autocross or drifting or on track days?

next, where do you get federal tires? i see a lot of drifters using them and they say they are great.

i think that that covers all of my questions.

by the way, the tires must be somewhere around 245/40/18 or 245/40/17. lower profile like a 245/35/18 is fine since it gives you better handling even though it gives worse ride comfort.
