I have to get with the park service and make sure I can fly in the Tortilla Flats area, believe it or not there are lots of rules I have to follow to legally fly in some locations. And if video is published, including YouTube, it becomes a commercial aircraft and has to follow FAA regulations......
Even flying at events is a hassle due to the potential of crashing into property / people, not to mention the liability issues the event organizer / I have to deal with.
Private property (with permission) and designated flying locations no problem..........areas where people gather and / or structures are present----> BIG problems.
Last nights video was a fail

, too dark and what was visible had the "jello effect", this is caused by a rotor out of balance or stability problem (no ground lock, and it wanted to follow everything that moved under it

).
I am going to build a smaller Tri-Rotor that can carry a Go-Pro for the Coffee / Pavilions meets.........the AR Drone cameras just don't work in low light....
Have I mentioned how much I detest all these rules just to have a hobby............
