I don't know if I agree with that! I owned a RSX for 6 years straight and there wasn't a hint of soft touch plastic inside like the FRS/BRZ twins have. In the FRS from my experience the whole dash is soft touch and there is nice materials on the door except for some hard surfaces there. Now the engine reliability is another story.

Not long before writing that post, on my way home from work I realized that that nice rubber cover on the dash is separating from the plastic underneath above my center vents... Never seen that on a Honda.
