I'm sure there's a track somewhere on which it's true. In general, with quite a bit less lateral Gs, it would need pretty long straights to catch up, and do so slowly, since quarter-mile times aren't too different. And the V6 RAV4 is dead now, is it?

I'm fairly certain Subaru doesn't want that crowd. Cause it will scare off its core crowd.
