So there seems to be a division of people that either: track their car, autox their car or basically daily driver their car. It doesn't seem like any of us will ever completely agree because we use these cars for different purposes.

Think of it this way... the BRZ tS is a better PLATFORM to start from if you trust STI. Same as the WRX STI. Some people prefer to start with the WRX to modify from while others are cool with the STI and just like to go up from there. Plenty of people have the WRX as a competent daily driver, and that's awesome. That's what I did.

I think if we had track days here in Alaska I'd complain more about the BRZ's lack of power. We have plenty of autox, though, and with better tires and some improved rigidity and lighter chassis, it seems to do well. For daily driving it is perfect because I can still pull around people and outrun them. Yes, even Rav4's, because at least in the BRZ I'm ready to go at most times. I person in a Rav4 is most likely asleep at the wheel because they're less engaged. Bwahahaha!!!
