What angers me about the people that say there's no need for a more powerful model is that they seem to think they know better than us that want FI and for some reason want to deny us the freedom to chose.
All were saying is we prefer not to have FI. It's called an opinion and were not denying you anything. There are plenty of turbo applications out there for you already. And just like you say you should have the freedom to choose if you want it, subaru has the freedom to choose whether they want to develop it or not. In addition, while I may not know more than you, id like to think the engineers whove spent years working on this car do, and jf theyre saying they dont want to develop it, there should be a good reason no? ill ask tada-san for you next time i meet him. People think that's its as simple as dropping a turbo in and calling it a day, but as a large corporation, they need to consider the business and logistics behind it as well. Warranty claims, service, etc. a company like greddy can afford o make a kit because they'll probably have about a 100 or so customers to assist, whereas subaru would have to potentially account for tens of thousands. Considering the price discrepancy between a wrx and a wrx sti is about 10k, good luck getting a 30k brz sti.
