What angers me about the people that say there's no need for a more powerful model is that they seem to think they know better than us that want FI and for some reason want to deny us the freedom to chose.

The thing is, at least in my area, you aren't going to get a BRZ as it is now for under $30k, and list price won't be $30k on a higher performance model, I'd imagine it would start at no less than $35k which puts it in direct competition with much higher powered cars. I picked what I did because it's affordable, fun, and there is nothing else like it on the road. If I was going to spend $35-$40k I'd have gotten a Boss 302 and called it a day.
