After a minute or so he faded back to his usual speed of 60 mph (I guess). Never saw him again. Obviously there are assholes on the road like this that we encounter all the time. However, it would have been great to have easily blown him away in the pass (with a more powerful car) and never had to deal with any of this BS.

And what is the posted speed limit on this particular road? It's important info if you want someone to take your side unless it's more about your ego, which is heavily implied by what you posted.

What angers me about the people that say there's no need for a more powerful model is that they seem to think they know better than us that want FI and for some reason want to deny us the freedom to chose.

Ummm...hyperbole much? No one is denying you that freedom here. You're absolutely free to drop a few stacks on FI if you want and so is everyone else if they choose to.
