I don't disagree that it is what it is. But the car is getting too expensive without adding anymore power and reaching too many other competitors.

Erroneous data is erroneous. They can tell if the ECU has been touched once it's been tuned. It's like breaking the seal off a package or unwrapping something wrapped in tight plastic. There's just no going back once you go forward.
