The amount of facepalm worthy posts in this thread is ridiculous. The ignorant posting seems to be strongly focused on this thread.

People that have no background in engineering or knowledge about the car business should stop making ignorant assumptions. Based on the comments about vehicle pricing and conversion rates it's as if people don't have a clue about how cars are priced in different markets. If only it was as simple as converting a currency.

Do you not realize how cheap it is to produce a car? They could easily give us a $30k FI BRZ and still turn a profit if they wanted to. To give you an idea, it costs less that $10,000 to manufacture a BMW 5 Series.

1) this car already handles amazingly well, so what's the point with these suspension mods
2) people oogling over a big brake kit? WTF does a 200 hp car need a big brake kit for?

50+ hp or go home if you ask me.
